I’m Helen and growing up with dogs from an early age developed a passion for animals, especially dogs and horses. Now a very happy owner of my dog Morse and horse Kiri, I have combined this love with my other passions - art and photography - so welcome to my website., I truly hope you enjoy it.
I studied art of school but didn’t quite make it to art college as the need for a job intervened! So I am pretty much self-taught. Having used oils and watercolours in the past, I found that pastels work best for me – they capture the light in an animal’s eye and the detail of hairs and whiskers like nothing else can.
